LeoVegas has revealed that it is endeavouring to enhance its position in the Danish market with the launch of a new sports betting platform in the country.
The new betting platform, “LeoVegas Sport’, will see approximately 100,000 betting games being offered each day across more than 40 different sports.
The launch of the sports betting platform follows LeoVegas’ acquisition of a licence for sports betting in Denmark – where the operator already offers casino services to the Danish.
The Group Chief Executive of LeoVegas, Gustaf Hagman, commented on the new sports betting platform by saying that the launch of LeoVegas’s casino has been extremely successful and LeoVegas has established itself as a brand in Denmark.
Hagman also said that they see a clear growth potential for sports and with today’s launch, their goal is to offer Denmark the fastest and most engaging sports gaming experience.
He also went on to say that parallel with the launch of sport, they have invested in their live casino where they now offer the market’s best live experience with the widest product range and exclusive tables for customers of LeoVegas. Hagman added that with these launches, they are able to strengthen LeoVegas’ offer in the Danish market.
Ian Freeman, the Chief Commercial Officer of Kambi, which worked with LeoVegas in order to develop the new platform, added that Kambi and LeoVegas have worked together closely to ensure the product could launch as soon as LeoVegas received its licence and the end result perfectly illustrates the potential operators have to innovate and differentiate using the Kambi technology in regulated markets.
